It’s not easy growing older in New York City, especially during COVID. However, there are many organizations that support the efforts of older adults, myself included, to live safely and with dignity. Here are a few of my favorites. Many of these groups also have volunteer activities which is so important during the pandemic. Additionally, many activities are now offered on line over platforms such as Zoom or on the phone. You can find art and exercise classes, lectures, discussion groups, and religious services.
